Welcome Greeting

Aloha Symposium Friends,

After celebrating our 25th anniversary last year, we are pleased to continue our legacy with this year’s 26th Big Island Annual Healthcare Symposium. Our theme, “Leveraging Innovation to Advance the Quintuple Aim” is focused on five key goals: (1) improve health; (2) improve quality; (3) improve affordability; (4) improve equity; and (5) improve clinician experience. Our objective is to provide an overall framework to learn, discuss, and analyze pathways for better health outcomes.

This Symposium continues to be the largest state-wide conference of its kind, organized by and for providers, with nationally as well as internationally acclaimed speakers who are experts vis-à-vis their respective topics. We also encourage Hawai‘i audience participation to add relevance to our own unique delivery system. In addition to our “best of the best” plenary sessions, as in previous years, there will be face-to-face networking opportunities with provider colleagues and key Hawai‘i healthcare influencers. We are also happy to offer 11 Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Continuing Medical Education Credits (CME).

Mahalo to our sponsors and exhibitors who make this conference possible. We encourage you to thank them in person for their generous support. Also, please enjoy our beautiful Hawai‘i Island surroundings and take time for some well-deserved rest and relaxation.
